Corfu
Corfu
is one of the most popular Greek islands with British tourists,
and it's easy to see why. From sleepy villages, hideaway beaches
and top class watersports, to some of the most fun packed nightlife,
Corfu has it all! Yet despite its tremendous popularity as a
holiday resort, Corfu remains in many ways unspoilt.
Crete
By
far the largest of the Greek islands, Crete is virtually a country
in itself. You will find the welcome from the local people as
warm as the climate. Crete is the most southerly Greek isle,
and as a sun, sea and sand destination it is hard to beat, with
beautiful fine sandy beaches scattered throughout the island.
Kos
The island of Kos exudes relaxation and charm. Endless sandy
beaches, and vibrant nightlife if you want it. Culture and history
too. Whether you are single, a couple or a group of friends it
is virtually impossible not to have a great holiday in Kos.
Rhodes
Blessed with the best sunshine record in Greece, Rhodes
is one of the southernmost islands and has marvellous beaches,
a stunning coastline and lush green countryside punctuated with
orange and lemon groves. Add to this the warmth of the people and
you have the perfect recipe for a relaxing holiday.
Zante
The beaches
in Zante are among the best in the whole of Greece, particularly
suitable for young children, while elsewhere the attractions
vary from traditional farming villages to modern holiday resorts;
from hideaways on secluded coves to popular beaches where you
can try out the latest in watersports. The visitor can choose
from the many harbourside tavernas and restaurants, while the
shops will offer a wide range of home-grown and locally produced
goods to rival those to be found anywhere else in Greece. |
